BRANDON, SD — The Huron Tigers had three placewinners on Friday during the opening day of the Class AA State Track and Field Meet. All three were in the pole vault competition. Senior Reagan Francom was second for the Tigers in the boys’ pole vault. He turned in a mark of 13 feet, 6 inches to finish behind junior Colton Jordan of Watertown, who had a winning vault of 15-1. Seniors Tessa Musil and Lexy Chase tied for fifth and seventh place, respectively, for Huron in the girls’ pole vault. Musil went 10-3 to share the spot with Allison Stadheim of Watertown, while Chase turned in a mark of 9-9 to finish in a four-way tie for the seventh spot. more
