GREENSBORO, N.C. (May 24, 2013) – Senior Chris Wyckoff (Toms River, N.J.) tied the Rutgers track & field record on Thursday at the NCAA East Region Championships in the pole vault as he cleared the bar at a height of 5.20m. Wyckoff just missed the cutoff for qualifying for the NCAA Championship, with the top 12 advancing to Eugene, Ore., and Wyckoff taking 15th. He tied the RU bench mark of 5.20m (17’0.75’) that was set by Mark Vinci. Additionally, Wyckoff surpassed his previous best of 5.15m captured most recently at the IC4A Championships. more
