KYIV (UKR): IAAF Vice President and pole vault great Sergey Bubka has said that members of the IAAF Race Walking Committee have raised strong concern to the IAAF about the high number of positive drug tests coming from athletes coached by Russia’s Viktor Chegin, report sbs.com.au. Bubka was responding to a campaign led by Australian race walker Jared Tallent who voiced his concerns about the coach. Bubka explained that as Chairman of the IOC Entourage Commission, he has always advocated sanctioning not only athletes for doping offenses but also the relevant entourage. He added that he will raise this issue to ensure it is discussed during the upcoming IAAF Council meeting in Eugene next month.
