A first-place performance by Carly Railing in the pole vault highlighted a good day for Algonquin’s girls track team at the all-state meet last Saturday at Bridgewater State.
Railing cleared 11 feet, 9 inches to win the event. Ashley Craig of Westford also cleared 11-9, but Railing won because of fewer misses. Railing and Craig were six inches better than the third-place finisher, Madison Arndt of Central Catholic
