LOUISVILLE, Ky. — In their second and final home meet of the season, the Bellarmine University track and field teams set three school records and pole vaulter Brian Ullrich hit a Div. II NCAA provisional qualifying mark with his best vault on the afternoon en route to a successful Senior Day at the Bellarmine Classic on Saturday.
The Knights put together a day to remember at the pole vault pit. Ullrich’s vault of 4.95 meters was his personal record and earned him the Knights’ third NCAA provisional mark of the outdoor season along with the Bellarmine school record in the event. Earlier in the day, Abby Harris recorded the women’s school record with her 3.55 meter attempt. Harris’ career best vault missed hitting a NCAA provisional qualfiying mark by just three-quarters of an inch. more
