Lafayette’s Kathryn Tomczak raises the bar

For the second week in a row, Kathryn Tomczak set a personal best in the pole vault. The Lafayette High junior cleared the bar at 11-6 to defeat Deep Run’s Adeline Scelzi (10-6) and New Kent’s (10-6) Daysa Jones for top honors during last weekend’s Christopher Newport University’s Winter Frolic held at the Freeman Center. more
