BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Sophomore Jordan Gornall and senior Arianne Raby earned Big Ten Track Athlete of the Week honors, while sophomores Nina Gutermuth and Dylan Anderson took Field Athlete of the Week honors, the Big Ten announced today.
Raby, a native of Repentigny, Quebec, set an Indiana school record and NCAA leading time en route to winning the 1,000-meter run in a time of 2:48.46.
In the women’s pole vault sophomore Nina Gutermuth took the top spot with a mark of 3.80m (12-5.5). Her clearance is the ninth best height in school history. Gutermuth’s mark is also 16th best in the NCAA this year so far. more
