RIVERDALE, N.Y. – The Manhattan College men’s and women’s indoor track & field teams kicked off the 2013-14 season with the annual Manhattan College Opener at Draddy Gymnasium on Friday. In a low-key meet, several Jaspers turned in fine performances, including five ECAC/IC4A qualifying marks. Achieving an IC4A qualifier was Justin Farrenkopf (Ellenville, N.Y.) in the pole vault. His winning leap was 4.80 m (15’9). Marisa Robbins (Goshen, N.Y.), Sarah Moore (Irvington, N.Y.) and Breanna Brucher (Glen Spey, N.Y.) all cleared 3.30 m (10’10) in the women’s pole vault, with Robbins being awarded the win on misses. more
