The World Athletics Center is delighted to announce that American 400 hurdler Jeshua Anderson will be joining our training group based in Phoenix, Arizona. Jeshua won four straight PAC-10 titles whilst at Washington State University, where he also won three NCAA titles, a World University gold and a National USA title. He competed at the IAAF World Championships in Daegu, however a hamstring strain two weeks before trials hampered his chances of making the USA Olympic squad. Having recovered, he is back working and focused on a new chapter having been based with his college coach in Pullman, WA. ‘I talked to him about going somewhere else which he was happy about. We ended up shopping around to different training groups,’ said Anderson. With Dan Pfaff being there, Andreas Behm and John Godina, there is so much experience between all three of them. Dan Pfaff is like the guru. He was very excited for me to come out. After talking to the coaches I am excited to be out there training in the warm weather all year round. “It was tough in Washington weather-wise, it snowed most of the time. Even when I was doing work in an indoor facility, I had to double the work to get some worth out of it.’ The American hurdler has been working hard to make sure he hits the ground running in Arizona, doing extra prep work in his home state.  more
