Brad Walker, who trains in Phoenix at the World Athletics Center, was fourth in pole vault Monday at the World Track Championships in Moscow. Walker cleared 19 feet, 1 inch but had one more miss than Bjorn Otto of Germany, who took the bronze medal. Germany’s Raphael Holzdeppe won with a jump of 19-3.75. Pole vaulter Kylie Hutson, who trains in Phoenix, did not clear a height in women’s pole vault qualifying. more at the Arizona Republic
