MOLLY Caudery produced a stunning finish to the season to not only smash her personal best in the pole vault but also soar to the top of the UK Rankings.
The 14-year-old Redruth School student from Illogan improved her best by a staggering 23cms in the Last Ditch Jumps meeting at Carn Brea as she cleared 3m53c.
That not only lifted her to the top of the UK Rankings for U15 girls but also puts her third in the All-Time Rankings – and not to forget it was also a new county record.
“I know I have been capable of a jump like that for a while but the competitions have just not gone my way, until now,” said Molly. “I was really up for this competition and was ready to get that height and the competition went really well. I am so pleased to add 23cms to my best.”
