WSIL — Harrisburg’s Lindsey Murray added National Champion to her lengthy resume by capturing the 17-18 year old division in the girls pole vault at the 2014 USA Youth Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Bloomington, Indiana.
Murray, who set a state record last month to win an Illinois state title, cleared 12′ 9″ to beat state champions from Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan.
The future Saluki will compete in the USA Track and Field Junior Olympics next month in Humboldt, Texas.
