The prep track season has been done for a couple of weeks, but area athletes are still competing. And in the case of Brookfield East’s Glen Harold, they’re still breaking records. The senior, who set the WIAA Division 1 state record with a winning vault of 16 feet 1 inch on June 7,  won the Wisconsin AAU regional qualifier Saturday at Carroll University with a vault of 16-9 1/4. That’s an overall state record, according to records kept by wisconsintrackonline.com. The previous mark of 16-7 was set by Waukesha North’s Todd Verbick in 1984. By the way, Harold, who will compete at the University of Minnesota, also was named the Gatorade state track and field athlete of the yearsource
