TEMPE, Ariz.—The Arizona State track and field teams have 32 student-athletes named to the 2014 Pac-12 Conference Men’s and Women’s Track and Field All-Academic teams, Commissioner Larry Scott announced on Thursday. To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and be either a starter or significant contributor. The All Academic team included a few vaulters like former Moon Valley athlete Dylan Austin. Here are the vaulters:
First Team: Dylan Austin, ASU 3.81 RS SR Pursuing Masters in Management; Linda Kuenzi, ASU SR 4.00 Aerospace Engineering; Amber Pasternak, ASU RS JR 3.91 Criminal Justice and Psychology
Honorable Mention: Tanner Greeley, RS SO, ASU; Derick Hinch, RS SR, ASU; Chris Manuele, RS SR, ASU; Heather Arseneau, SR, ASU; Shaylah Simpson, SR, ASU
Second Team: Michael Woepse, UCLA 3.29 SR History
