Australia — Sisters Vicky and Liz Parnov will go head-to-head at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow next month and would not have it any other way. The pole vaulters will travel with their dad Alex, who is also their coach .The Commonwealth Games is the highest level the duo has competed at together and it will be their second Games after 23-year-old Vicky competed in Melbourne in 2006 and 20-year-old Liz in Delhi, India in 2010. “It’s exciting…I wouldn’t have it any other way,” Liz said “She’s my best friend and he’s my dad so it’s very unique. “It can be hard at times but we don’t know any different.” The sisters said they were both competitive and wanted to beat each other but they were always happy for one another. more
