Senior James Deutmeyer has followed his Catholic league pole vault championship with another stellar accomplishment.
Congratulations to James on winning this year’s New York State Public High School Athletic Association’s Outdoor Pole Vault Federation Championship.
His 16′ 6″ performance is a New York State Catholic High School record, and the second highest vault ever by a New York State high school pole vaulter.
Congratulations to Coaches Carney and Byrne for developing one of the top vault programs in New York State.
Next Saturday James is off to North Carolina for Nationals.
