McMINNVILLE, Ore. – Kylie Weatherford in the women’s pole vault and Asia Greene in the women’s long jump both made significant improvements in their events, leading George Fox University’s efforts in the Linfield College Open track and field meet Saturday here at Maxwell Field, their next-to-last meet of the regular season. Weatherford made a seven-and-a-half inch jump from her previous best to post a vault of 10-11.75 / 3.35m, finishing second in the meet to unattached Catherine Street, who had a 12-11.5 / 3.95m. Weatherford’s mark moved her into seventh in the Northwest Conference this spring and into sixth place on the all-time George Fox vault list. more
