Long Beach State’s Conner Rouse tied for first in the men’s pole vault, clearing a personal best 17-0, serving as the highlight for the track & field team on the final day of the Triton Invitational. The sophomore’s mark was good enough to tie for the ninth-best mark in program history. Behind Rouse, Brandon Hierholzer and Niko Althaus tied for eighth at 15-05.
In the women’s pole vault, Kayla Kamaka tied for sixth (12-01.5). Jodi Lambert also performed well, finishing in 16th place with a season-best 11-07.75. more
