INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Air Force junior Joey Uhle will compete in the pole vault at the 2014 NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships, the national office announced this evening (March 4) with the release of its championship field.
This will be the second straight appearance at the indoor championships for Uhle, who placed 14th at last year’s meet. The co-Mountain West champion is currently ranked 16th among the national qualifiers, having cleared a career-best 17’10¼” at the Air Force Team Challenge in mid-February (a mark that is ranked 10th overall in the NCAA this season).
The 2014 NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships will be held next weekend in Albuquerque, N.M. The men’s pole vault competition is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 15, at the ABQ Convention Center in downtown Albuquerque
