WARSAW, NY — With still one more spring to add to her legacy in the realm of Livingston Conference, Section 5 and New York State track and field, Warsaw senior Karmen Auble made her decision for higher education and collegiate athletics official on Wednesday. After having her exhaustive search narrowed down to three schools, Auble signed her letter of intent to continue her stellar athletic career at Division I Xavier University. “I fell in love with Xavier the first time I stepped on campus,” said Auble. “And when I went back for my official visit I loved it even more.” Auble finished a close second at the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Indoor Meet at Cornell University where she vaulted a 12-3, good for second. Later that month, Auble competed in the pole vault at the national meet at the New York City Armory where she finished 11th overall withj a 12-0 3/4; she was the top finisher from New York State.
