Olympic pole vault champion and Fredonia native Jenn Suhr will compete in an event today on the White Birch Golf Course in Lyndonville. This is a sanctioned event as part of the New York Invite Series and is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. with a rain date set for Sunday. Medina’s Janice Keppler, currently ranked fourth in the nation, is also in the field as is Heather Hamilton, the top-ranked pole vaulter from Canada. more
