Local Pole Vaulter Alison Fung captured Bronze this weekend at the Fred Foot Memorial track and Field meet held at the University of Toronto. The Chippewa Secondary School alumnus is in her second year with the Guelph Gryphons varsity track and field team.Fung vaulted to a personal best height of 3.45 meters and is currently ranked 6th in the OUA standings and 11th in the CIS standings. The top 12 vaulters in the country will move on to the CIS national championships in Edmonton, March 6-8th. Fung will travel with the Gryphons this weekend to the McGill Team Challenge in Montreal.
