Ever since coming back the states as a two-time Olympic medalist, Will Claye has been trying to make his way back to Mountain Pointe for a clinic. That time is now. Claye will be part of Saturday’s 2014 Arizona Track and Field Coaches Clinic at Mountain Pointe.
In addition to Claye (long and triple jump), Andreas Behm (hurdles), Jeff Messer (distance runners), Collin Post (throws), Dewayne Evans (sprints), Ray Davies (high jump), Jeff Guy (pole vault), Tim McClellan (strength and conditioning), Dr. Jim Afremow (sports psychology), Dr. Kevin Prichette (sports medicine) and Greg Hull (art of coaching) will speak on their specific area of expertise.
The program, which is supported by World Athletics Center, is for coaches and the event coordinator is Pride first-year coach Tim O’Neil. more
