If there was ever any doubt about the true talent of Staten Island’s track and field athletes amongst their peers in the state, skeptics should hold their thoughts and take notice.
Monsignor Farrell’s Justin Sicari leads the boys’ Island contingent on the state-ranked list, ranked No. 1 in the high jump with a measure of 6 feet, 7 inches. The Lions’ senior mark was recorded five days ago in the CHSAA Varsity Meet, held at the New Balance Armory Track and Field Center, in Manhattan.
Farrell’s Joe Crispi is ranked No. 5 in the pole vault with a personal best of 15-0. more
